- because these people bleat on endlessly about free speech, but only when it’s just for THEM

- because they’re ragey about anyone having an impact on the national political and media discourse, but only when it’s people they disagree with

- because they’re furious about what they call cancel culture and the silencing of voices, while they sit in their plush government offices or even plusher broadcasting studios dictating incoherent FB posts or crying on-air about the mean nasty witches now wrecking everything for the billionaire masters who use them as puppets to destroy nations

- because they proclaim “If you don’t like it don’t listen” to their ever-dwindling constituents and audiences, without any apparent understanding that if they’re not witches and our consumer boycotts aren’t to their taste why the fuck aren’t they taking their own fucking advice?

- because they don’t seem to understand that we’re doing NOTHING more than giving research-based advice to other people who share our values and there’s nothing either unlawful or unwise about doing so: in fact it’s our DUTY to protest dangerous media content and if we didn’t we’d be complicit in the harm

- because they reckon MFW are destroying jobs and (heaven forbid) corporate profits without the slightest recognition that if these companies didn’t employ verbally violent misogynist cunts in the first place they wouldn’t have a single problem

- because they ask why MFW get to call the shots on these issues while also furiously agreeing that ACMA didn’t do their jobs and someone had to (but didn’t) rein in Kyle’s depravity and Karl’s grovelling up to Nazis

- because they breezily make up stories about MFW then viciously attack us for telling the ABSOLUTE TRUTH about their own cruddy behaviour as if their lies are fine while our facts are beyond the fucking pale

- because they talk about communism and socialism and other forms of nasty scary wokeism without even a 5-year-old’s comprehension of these the topics or any fucking idea that their ridiculous lies are harming themselves and playing straight into the patriarchy’s grasping and endlessly destructive hands

- because they constantly exhort us to think as they do, get incandescently furious when we refuse to, then claim we’re the “thought police” just for daring to challenge their nonsensical fucking shit

- and because the people with the biggest profiles and microphones like those in the pic below and their employers are clearly the ones who despite claiming MFW are too loud and too sweary and too powerful and too loud and too women-y and too too too too too too fucking everything they don’t like simply WON’T FUCKING SHUT UP.

The hypocrisy and sheer fucking audacity of these people disgusts us, witches.

They can give it out, but they sure can’t fucking take it.

Well, their days of unchallenged power are OVER. None of us can afford to let these people continue to enjoy their traditional unchecked power, and we should all be proud as punch that finally someone (us witches) are doing something useful and necessary about it.

The choice is simple: employ people who don’t harm and oppress others, or cop the fucking consequences.

Perhaps they should simply grow up and fucking get used to it.

Your government is responsible for the greatest witch-hunt upon the Australian people in living memory, allowing your own taxpayer funded envoy, Jillian Segal and her cohort of paranoid, mendacious Israel lobbyists, to eradicate free speech, and have artists, academics, journalists, and ordinary Australian people living in fear for their jobs and their physical safety.

Your government’s single-minded zeal to elevate the interests of the Israel lobby above any other Australian’s rights has ironically emboldened racism, created greater resentment against Jewish people and destroyed social cohesion. One of the reasons we’ve been extra-quiet lately, witches, is because it’s almost impossible to adequately address the outrageous hypocrisy and gob-smacking lack of self-reflection in much of the current media discourse around the recent actions of MFW.

Yet it’s becoming so blatant, we’re going to today give it something of a try. At least for a small part of it, since no way can we cover it all.

Last week, an Aussie-based podcast held a serious discussion on what MFW could be sued for to make us shut up. They posited we could be sued for defamation (despite their own podcast being on that day and many others highly defamatory towards our Administrators). They also claimed (among other nonsense) companies could sue us under the Fair Work Act for bullying their staff, notwithstanding that our so-called bullying has never consisted of anything other than sending companies word-for-word quotes coming out of Kyle’s mouth and if companies object to being sent obscene memes *they actually fund*, all they have or had to do at any time was to *stop funding it*.

Other publications have similarly flayed us on radio or in print for doing nothing more than their own jobs for them, including, as seen in the pics below, the so-called media advertising gurus at Mumbrella, who’ve followed their blatantly untruthful comments about one of our Admins a few weeks ago (which we politely asked them to take down, but they didn’t), with this exhortation: “Soon the industry needs a conversation about who takes a stand against MFW's disproportionate power.”

What in the fuck?

So hang on. All these self-proclaimed bastions of free speech and media impartiality can say what they fucking like about anyone and twist or deceive information to suit their own agendas, but WE can’t make it known we just want to spend our money in alignment with our values? So the free speech they say they value really is … only for them?

And when MFW overstep the mark (in their opinion), we have to therefore be punished, sued to oblivion, or destroyed?

What in the fuck? Who the fuck are these people? What right have they got to tell us what to do, when they collectively turn a blind eye to Kyle’s filth, and even (in most cases) repeatedly defend it? And who (as always) trot out probably the only woman on their staff to do their dirty work for them in print, while the men in charge continue to hide bravely (or not) behind her?

What in the fuck?

Nor are those two organisations the only ones whose cowardice amazes us every fucking day. One of Australia’s biggest media organisations had one of their biggest stars interview our MFW spokeswoman recently, then declined to publish the interview after Kyle was sacked. Presumably because we suddenly got too big for our boots and they don’t want to give us any further attention. Nor was this the first time this kind of ridiculousness taken place. And always, of course, after we’ve given generously of our time and expertise, only to have them treat us like shit in return.

These media orgs all ignored MFW when they thought we had no power, witches. Then they laughed at us and denigrated us, and finally they’ve switched to openly going after us. We know they’ve searched high and low to find dirt on all the Admins in our ranks they can find, and have published the most laughably spurious details about us the internet can yield. And despite finding nothing any of those behind the scenes have done which is worthy of criticism or censure, they continue to bay for blood.

Because if we can’t be silenced, we must be destroyed. Using legal means, or using their media power, or (if those methods fail) using violent personal and physical threats against our Admins and their families or property.

Yet despite these threats, we’re still here. And they can get the fucking memo: we’re not going anywhere.

We know DARVO when we see it, and this behaviour is DARVO writ large.

They should all fucking-well be ashamed of themselves.

Niki Savva is, as always, the undisputed Queen of the scathe. Regardless of what side of the political spectrum she sits - she writes with a clarity, integrity and insight that is sadly lacking in much of our journalism today.

Savva says what many of us are thinking. Much more eloquently and from a powerful base of hard-won respect built through her decades of experience within the political spectrum.

When Savva speaks about the state of our politics, it’s not from a manifestation of social media fairy farts or the latest version of troll-bot-fest toxic meanderings that are ingested into the psyche of doomscroller-dom central on a daily basis. It’s from decades of factual observations, first-person conversations and evidential analysis.

Those who did see Pauline Hanson’s NPC Titanic moment who exhibited a modicum of critical thinking would be asking themselves similar questions about the motivation of somebody who professes to want to lead the country but instead displays a distinct lack of legitimacy in policy and leadership skills every time she opens her mouth. They would be questioning the increasingly toxic authoritarian likemindedness that we see elsewhere in the world. They would ask themselves if this person is more likely to be motivated by the monetary rewards of stirring up hate and division rather than for any benefit financially and/or socially for the majority of Australians. They might agree with Savva.

To be sure, what Hanson has unpacked and unleashed has frightened the fence sitters and the half-asses. Her adoring loyal supporters are another story, however. They’ve been anger-washed & fitted with rose coloured glasses. They can’t see the hypocrisy of “I’m just like all yous” while financially benefiting from a billionaire who would ultimately punish orangearmy loyalists without blinking.

The real losers of the Hanson-Rinehart bulldozer bash will ultimately be the coalition, regardless of how much Labor bashing the media aspires to on a daily basis. An ineffective & incompetent opposition leader will ultimately bear the brunt of an exodus of discontent right-wing voters with nowhere to go. Alternately, the more moderate Liberal voters will be both horrified by Hanson’s authoritarian impersonations & be despairing of no credible alternative within their own ranks. They will likely defect to alternative MPs like the Teals & independents.

Angus Taylor will not stand up to One Nation. His ineffectual response to the hard-right push is rooted in the perpetual interference of Tony Abbott, Peta Credlin & her husband, Brian Loughnane who have more or less succeeded in destroying the Vic liberals & are on track to ruin any chances the Liberals have federally of winning an election for at least two terms.

Abbott’s control over the liberal party and push towards the hard-right and Hanson has effectively knobbled the entire party. Those who would speak out against it are shut down. The frustration that is evolving in the ranks will be far more damaging to the liberals if they lose any more moderate MPs because they see the Hansonisation of the Liberal party for what it is. Political suicide.

The final player in this fiasco is the media - who are driven by the vested interests of the few who would undoubtedly benefit financially from a far-right and undemocratic government here. The same media who are intent on persecuting the Labor government on a daily basis will not hold Pauline Hanson and One Nation to the same standards.
