@JamesSteidle He should take a good hard look at Courtenay/Comox before talking about vote splitting. Cons won over NDP by about 200 votes while Green had nearly 7,000. Not a criticism of Greens. 10+ ridings voted NDP/Green more than Conservative.

@DuaneBratt Some of those interior and north island ridings have NDP/Green vote splitting. Courtenay/Comox is an outstanding example with NDP set to loose by a couple hundred but Green having around 7000 votes. And the Con candidate is a fairly centrist former BC Liberal anyway. What a mess.

@KahlonRav When I look around the Comox Valley I see lots of new residential buildings and infill detached or duplexes. Seems like progress though I hear permitting from the city can still be arduous. I like that now I have the option of adding a dwelling unit for aging parents.

@DavidColetto I drive a variety of EVs for work in BC and AB. Car-shares, rentals, leases. I go between Courtenay and Calgary, do detours through the Kootenays, and also to Dawson Creek. They are way cheaper to use than gas. The charging network is reliable and constantly expanding.
