@MelikAbdul_ @BuckSexton I think its often the case, Nomadland for instance was one of the worst films I can recall watching. I grew up navigating poverty, to have Hollywood romanticize it so its digestible for the elites was frustrating.

@MelikAbdul_ @BuckSexton The music was great, but there were scenes that it was louder than the dialog. I felt the sex scenes were odd and unnecessary. If we have to go back and excuse a film for missed/deeper meaning, then the writing really did just fall short.

MbJ's acting alone was okay, but didnt carry any kind of emotional response. I felt like the story was good, but the editing (including the score) was made for TV

@cnnbrk Its independence was never a good thing. Its literally ran by big banks and is not an arm of our government, potentially leading to decisions that don't necessarily reflect the broader public interest, but what's best for the rich.
