@SamOlbur A Cricket ground in the UK has a tree in the outfield. Automatic 4 runs if the ball hits the tree. Batsman cannot be caught out from a rebound off the tree. But I agree the ivy is the best.
@gbennett1997 Only 2 of those have actually benefited the club measured by transfer fees as we have had no actual on pitch success. Hutchinson and Allen. I would argue they were old school Flynn signings before the Trivela "model" was in place.
@dazfellows@colin_11776 It was on Tuchel to stop us retreating. He was the coach to make the difference to give the belief to change the mindset. Instead he fed the fear. One of the worst coaching displays I have witnessed.
@ribbonpodcast Comparing his win percentage to managers like Graydon, Lee and Money who achieved theirs at highr levels also with financial restraints just shows complete arrogance and ignorance on his behalf. He genuinely believes he made no mistakes with us.
@Vital_Walsall Interesting that people prefer Hourihane who has no achievements as a manager to some of the non league options who have had success albeit at a lower level. I would take someone who has at least built winning teams somewhere.
@awalsallfcpod Good pod and Tom Heslop's comments on WM were poor but he no longer works for the club. Left at the end of last season. Just puts his comments in a different light.
@ArrowsmithLiam @GasFeez @bensadler12 The sales of Allen and Oakagbue aren't shown here. The figures released are for 24/25. Those sales will show on next year's accounts.
@bensadler12 The style is showing signs of being unsustainable again, and without results it offers no value whatsoever for the paying public. The style and philosophy wasn't addressed in the video.
@bensadler12 I appreciate that February isn't the time for full inquests, so I accept the update for what it is. However I firmly believe we need a fans forum with the Head Coach, Matt Jordan and Andy Mcgregor. Let us hear their views on what product is being put out.
@ribbonpodcast As a prelude to a meatier statement before Grimsby and maybe a big decision after the game then the statement is OK. Could have been released a few days ago. Reserve judgement until the video message.
@gbennett1997 @JonnyDrury_Star Not so much a quustion but more of a discussion point.
With the anti possession style showing signs of being unsustainable for a whole season yet again, Sadler surely has to show some willingness to evolve or at least tweak the system.
@ribbonpodcast Aside from any bad feeling, he just doesn't fit Sadlers style. Yes he is a big target man but he just operates between the width of the penalty box and would be incapable of contributing to our press.
@ribbonpodcast The fans will vocalise any discontent towards Sadler. It was loud and clear yesterday. Sadler will be under massive external pressure but very little internally.
Let's hope for an unprecedented successful January. We need a massive one.
@ribbonpodcast It's Sadlers style and it has produced results. Horrible to watch but I am also no fan of tippy tappy football at this level. But an extra 10% possession to approx 38-40% would make a huge difference to our game. Surely Sadler can see that!
@ribbonpodcast It's not so much the defeat, though. They happen we all know that. It's the nature of the performances and the style of play that produces those performances. We look a mile off. We need a massive January, and we know how they usually go.
