@JordanConcanno2 I agree with this statement. Why can we not just use building that are already built to create more houses for low-income individuals?

@DrAPOwens It saddens me that people are attacking people groups for what is going on in the world. Stop the hate. Hate does not fix problems it just creates them.

@DrAPOwens This article again shows that there are still people that the relief does not assist. I have to agree that someone is still going to have to pay all the debt. If not current taxpayers it will be future taxpayers. As we learn in economics free is never truly free.

The number of homeless living on the streets is increasing. Will the new Covid relief package be enough to keep the numbers of homeless from rising? What will happen when the money stops?

Everyone has the right to vote. Voting is power. Voting allows people to voice their views whether we agree with their views or not. Let us not move backward but move forward.

"Some people don't want some people to vote." Preach it Reverend. We should be making voting more accessible not placing harsh restrictions on the right to vote. #SUSocialWork
@DrAPOwens I know many people that are using their checks to pay off past due bills due to being unemployed. I also know many people that are against the checks. They are in place for those who need them. I too hope that people invest the money wisely.

Rising demand for behavioral health treatment and decreasing state revenues require greater creativity in how Maryland pays for and delivers public mental health and substance use disorder services. We call on our elected officials to invest smartly to ensure quality care.
I am glad to see some of the money will be going into state schools to fund their Special Education programs. That is money well spent on an area that has needed more funding.

@JessicaDelatte3 This is crazy. I read that they are holding these children in facilities that are like prisons. How is this okay. Why are there no appropriate facilities for the children when they are waiting to get into the US? This is the 21st century.

@Brittevans95 I have to agree with you. I know for many students the resource officer have become apart of their life. The officers are more of a mentor to the students. The reason for resource officers were put in schools wa to protect students not harm them.
