I worked hard to get this man elected.. again… because I believe in him and because I believe God chose him for this moment.

There is still much to do… but for the most part, I’m just grabbing my popcorn and watching it all play out now. 🍿

加州允许首次登记投票的人使用一些大多数美国人可能感到意外的身份证明文件进行注册，其中包括：健身房会员卡,雇主工作证, 信用卡或借记卡, 处方药标签, 医疗保险卡（加州向非法移民提供免费医疗保险）

根据现行规定，当选民在注册时未提供社会安全号码（Social Security Number）或驾驶执照号码时，可以使用上述文件作为身份证明。

第一助理聯邦檢察官Bill Essayli 对加州如何维护其选民登记名单存在严重担忧。目前仍有许多疑问，包括加州是否及时将以下人员从选民名单中移除：已去世人员,已搬离该州的人员,因重罪而失去投票资格的人员. 除此之外，加州还允许第三方代为收集和递交选票（即所谓的“选票收集”或 Ballot Harvesting）。

这使得外界难以追踪究竟是谁收到了选票、填写了选票以及最终递交了选票。

一年多以来，美国司法部一直试图审查加州的选民登记资料。

根据联邦法律，美国司法部长有权查阅各州的选民档案，以确认参加联邦选举投票的人员均为符合资格的美国公民。

美国司法部副部长 Harmeet Dhillon曾致函加州政府，说明联邦政府拥有相关法律权限。

然而，加州拒绝配合，并声称州隐私法禁止此类审查。但檢察官 Essayli 的立场是，这一论点并不成立，因为在此情况下，这些州级隐私法并不适用于联邦政府。

因此，檢察官Essayli 已经向联邦法院起诉加州。目前，该案件正在美国第九巡回上诉法院（Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals）审理之中。
