This individual is twisting events from years ago and inventing language I have never used.There was no formal complaint,no report, and no record because the truth is,it never happened. The emails being referenced were not intended to be bullying in any way;they expressed frustration over unacceptable delays and poor-quality work.What’s even more telling is that neither he nor his company ever raised a single concern or made a formal complaint at the time.Why not?Because there was nothing to complain about. Only now, seven years later, when my name is in the headlines, have they decided to jump on the bandwagon, hoping to gain attention and money from a false story.And let me be clear: I know precisely who contacted The Daily Mail with this fabricated story. I could name and shame them, but I will rise above it. I have more dignity and self-respect than those who choose to profit from deceit. What I will say to him and to anyone else considering similar actions is that our legal team has taken note of everything.

Over-Promoted and Over-Protected by the Establishment

On 20 December 2023, I posted the following:

“You’ve probably never heard of him, but Sir Chris Wormald is the man directly responsible for wasting £10 billion of public money on PPE.

As Permanent Secretary at the Department of Health and Social Care during COVID, he bought five years’ worth of PPE when only four months’ supply was needed. Much of it had a shelf life of just two years, meaning billions of pounds’ worth of stock expired and was destroyed.

He is now Head of the Cabinet Office a man over-promoted to a level far beyond his capabilities. He should have been sacked for his performance at the DHSC. Instead, he was promoted to the top job in the civil service!

He has very serious questions to answer about how such staggering waste and deception of public money were allowed to happen, but he has always been protected.

He used myself and my husband as scapegoats turning me into the ‘poster Blonde Baroness’ to cover up his own sheer incompetence.

His performance at the COVID Inquiry shone a light on his failings and the shocking waste of public money.

At the time, I was attacked for speaking the truth. But as today’s headlines show, Keir Starmer is now reportedly on the verge of sacking Chris Wormald.

The sad reality is, they’re all as bad as each other protecting one another, shifting blame, and refusing to take any responsibility or accountability for these failings.

The public deserves honesty, not excuses. Already knighted what’s next for him? A place in the House of Lords?

I was truly taken aback by the thousands of positive, caring messages I received across my social media platforms. Each one meant more than you’ll ever know. 
Most days, I wake up and struggle to find the strength to face yet another round of government-led (“spin doctor”) lies being printed by elements of the UK press. I don’t blame journalists for doing their jobs, but I do ask that they please start getting their facts right and add some balance to their articles. 
Yesterday I had a lovely birthday with my husband and our three gorgeous cocker spaniels, Rocky, Rusty, and Rory. Doug even convinced me to get dressed up, as he was taking me out for dinner. So, I got glammed up, put a smile on my face and had a fantastic night out. 
I woke up this morning filled with gratitude, renewed strength, and a fierce determination to keep fighting for the truth to come to light.
Life is too short to let lies and negativity win. Thank you all for reminding me of that.

Yesterday, Kemi Badenoch, Leader of the Conservative Party, publicly called for me to resign from the House of Lords using reckless, inflammatory, and false language.
Let me be clear: I have done NOTHING wrong. I was asked to help during a national emergency. I acted in good faith. I declared everything openly. The Cabinet Office and the Conservative Party KNEW.
This is the same party that wasted over £9.1 BILLION of taxpayers’ money during the PPE crisis and now they want to use me as a scapegoat to cover it up. They sneer and call me the “blonde bra Baroness” but I built a global brand from nothing. I’d love to see them try to run a business and succeed the way I did. Instead, they unleashed their spin doctors on me, creating TV documentaries and feeding the press with lies, a false narrative designed to hide their own cover-ups.

This morning, I wrote to the Prime Minister after the Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, openly admitted that “the Government has a vendetta against me.”

Let me be clear: this is an abuse of power a campaign of intimidation targeting me personally. It is false, defamatory, and has put my family and me at risk.

I did nothing wrong. I was asked to help during a national crisis, and I acted in good faith, declaring my involvement transparently. With over 25 years of manufacturing experience, the Cabinet Office and the Conservative Party were fully aware of my role from the outset.

I had no knowledge of any “VIP Lane.” Many entrepreneurs including Members of Parliament and the House of Lords were involved in PPE procurement, yet none of them are being investigated. Where are their names?

I know the FULL picture. But instead, it suits them to pin it on a blonde Baroness.

I will not be silenced. I will not be scapegoated. I will take every step necessary to protect my reputation, my safety, and my family.

Rachel, thank you for confirming what Doug and I have long believed. Your comment will now be passed to our legal team, who will find it highly useful in establishing the Government’s bias and position against us.
But let me be clear: such reckless words have consequences. Since this remark, my social media has been flooded with threats and messages of abuse from keyboard warriors. Do you really understand the implications of your actions and the hatred they incite? Shame on you.

Today’s judgment against PPE Medpro is shocking but all too predictable.
It is nothing less than an Establishment win for the Government in a case that was too big for them to lose.
According to the judgment, PPE Medpro won its original pleaded case, having spent 4.5 years and £4.4 million defending it. However, on the opening day of trial, the Government pivoted to an entirely new argument, one that had never been pleaded beforehand. They claimed there was a lack of original “source documentation” around sterilisation, even though seven fully accredited sterilisation plants supplied gowns to other Governments and suppliers worldwide throughout the pandemic, without an issue.
This quantum leap of faith on the part of the judge gave the government an overall win. 
To use a simple analogy,  if a car looks, feels, and drives like, say, a Range Rover, then unless you can show how the car is assembled by the manufacturer, it’s not a Range Rover! That’s essentially what the judgment states, which contradicts all the evidence presented in court during the month-long trial in June of this year.

Next week, the COVID-19 Inquiry will holdclosed-door sessions on PPE procurement. This is a blatant betrayal of transparency and justice. The public will hear nothing. This is not an inquiry into the truth. It is an establishment cover-up.

The cornerstone of British justice—the right of the accused to challenge allegations—has been trampled. We are being silenced while the actual wrongdoers manipulate the narrative behind closed doors.
On 26th February 2025, we discovered, through the media, not the Inquiry, that PPE Medpro was being secretly investigated. We were never informed, consulted, or given a chance to present critical evidence despite repeatedly offering to do so. Worse, we have learned that the National Crime Agency (NCA) actively tried to block PPE Medpro from being discussed in the Inquiry altogether, pushing for complete secrecy and extreme reporting restrictions. This is a deliberate and calculated effort to keep us, and the British public, in the dark.
While the Inquiry refused to exclude PPE Medpro, it handed the NCA the power to dictate the proceedings behind a wall of secrecy, ensuring that only their version of events is heard—while we are denied the right to defend ourselves.

For nearly four years, the NCA has waged a ruthless campaign to destroy us, dragging out an investigation with no merit, no justification, and no end in sight. They have smeared us as criminals when, in reality, we have done nothing wrong.

From the beginning, we both declared our interests in PPE Medpro to the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), ministers of Government, and the Cabinet Office. There was full transparency about our involvement. The government knew exactly who we were and what we were doing. There was no secrecy, no deception, and nothing improper.

Yet, instead of holding themselves accountable for their monumental failures, these officials have chosen to scapegoat us, to divert attention away from their own catastrophic incompetence.

We have endured years of relentless persecution. We have spent enormous sums fighting a politically motivated witch-hunt. The toll on our lives, our families, and our reputations has been devastating.

This corruption must end.

The NCA, in direct collusion with the DHSC, has twisted its immense powers; not to serve justice, but to shield the real culprits: the ministers and officials who botched the pandemic response, wasted billions in taxpayer money, and are now trying to cover their tracks by engineering a scandal against us.

Let’s be clear:
PPE Medpro delivered precisely what was asked—hundreds of millions of life-saving PPE items at below-market prices.
PPE Medpro fulfilled all its contracts to specification and delivered on time.  They did their job.
PPE Medpro took no upfront deposits from the UK government, exposing the company to tens of millions of pounds of risk.

Yet, instead of exposing the actual failures of the pandemic, the authorities have orchestrated a baseless smear campaign to destroy us.

A public inquiry should be about truth. Instead, this process is rigged—held in secret, controlled by those who fear the truth, with a predetermined outcome.

As soon as we learned of this outrageous ruling, we immediately applied for Core Participant status—only to be denied twice, proving once again that this process is nothing more than a sham designed to protect the guilty.
This is not justice. This is a political vendetta driven by corruption, cowardice, and deception.
 The real scandal is not PPE Medpro. It is:
The British government’s catastrophic failure in handling the pandemic.
The NCA’s abuse of power is driven by political agendas, not justice.
The deliberate destruction of innocent lives to shield those truly responsible.

For nearly four years, the NCA has waged a ruthless campaign to destroy us, dragging out an investigation with no merit, no justification, and no end in sight. They have smeared us as criminals when, in reality, we have done nothing wrong.

From the beginning, we both declared our interests in PPE Medpro to the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), ministers of Government, and the Cabinet Office. There was full transparency about our involvement. The government knew exactly who we were and what we were doing. There was no secrecy, no deception, and nothing improper.

Yet, instead of holding themselves accountable for their monumental failures, these officials have chosen to scapegoat us, to divert attention away from their own catastrophic incompetence.

We have endured years of relentless persecution. We have spent enormous sums fighting a politically motivated witch-hunt. The toll on our lives, our families, and our reputations has been devastating.

This corruption must end.

The NCA, in direct collusion with the DHSC, has twisted its immense powers; not to serve justice, but to shield the real culprits: the ministers and officials who botched the pandemic response, wasted billions in taxpayer money, and are now trying to cover their tracks by engineering a scandal against us.

Let’s be clear:
PPE Medpro delivered precisely what was asked—hundreds of millions of life-saving PPE items at below-market prices.
PPE Medpro fulfilled all its contracts to specification and delivered on time.  They did their job.
PPE Medpro took no upfront deposits from the UK government, exposing the company to tens of millions of pounds of risk.

Yet, instead of exposing the actual failures of the pandemic, the authorities have orchestrated a baseless smear campaign to destroy us.

A public inquiry should be about truth. Instead, this process is rigged—held in secret, controlled by those who fear the truth, with a predetermined outcome.

As soon as we learned of this outrageous ruling, we immediately applied for Core Participant status—only to be denied twice, proving once again that this process is nothing more than a sham designed to protect the guilty.
This is not justice. This is a political vendetta driven by corruption, cowardice, and deception.
 The real scandal is not PPE Medpro. It is:
The British government’s catastrophic failure in handling the pandemic.
The NCA’s abuse of power is driven by political agendas, not justice.
The deliberate destruction of innocent lives to shield those truly responsible.
We will not be silenced. We will not stop fighting. We will expose the truth, no matter how hard they try to bury it.
