I don’t think it’s natural to see other people every day. There should be some off time. And I’m not saying this as some sociopath who doesn’t love other people, but I just think that there should be at least one day out of seven where you don’t see other people.
Glad my grief is rooted in love and not regret...Every time I think of or speak about my dad,,,I'm met with this quiet sense of gratitude for the privilege of having had loved that man and being loved fully by him...🥺❤️
I love the idea of restoration after loss.
Meeting the new people who are about to love you and they actually love you.
Friendship and girlhood again after friendship break ups.
I love feeling like we’re on the up again and life starts feeling amazing again.
but life is long and the pain is also never-ending, it is just that sometimes everything else feels inconsequential when you have seen your whole world completely fall apart right infront of you.
not a healthy coping trait I know, but every heartache and pain is always “non-monumental” to me because I know the pain of losing a parent at an early age. I use that pain to gauge everything else, sometimes even dismissing somethings cause they feel irrelevant.
Things that annoy me but are none of my business part 2:
Pranks
Hiding your husband but showing your kids
39 year old single men
Having parasocial relationships with celebrities and influencers
You aren’t going to be able to maintain long term relationships, platonic or romantic if you aren’t prepared to talk about what’s bothering you and give people a chance to address and fix it. Nor give them the chance to tell you when you do something to them.
