Last thing I’ll say before I log off for awhile. Something very personal but I feel I should share it anyway because I want people to know the kind of impact that Yoongi can have on a persons life.
My story is below.
When you watch a grown man shoot one basketball, it can also tell so much about him. It's as if you were getting a look behind the curtain to see who this guy really is and how he lives his life.
How does he go about his shot first? How does he carry himself—does he look confident, stepping up with purpose and focus? Or is he holding back, doubting his own mind? The confidence in the shot is many times a barometer for how confident we are feeling about life.
And his style and technique, too. The repetition and the fluid shot show discipline and dedication. That means he is experienced and has had plenty of time to sharpen his skills as it also implies determination, focus, and dedication. Conversely, a poor-quality or rushed shot might imply carelessness on his part...or perhaps less interest in doing his job properly.
Now watching him miss also does he become frustrated, even enraged? Or does he shrug it off, remain composed, and try again with conviction? The manner in which he responds to his failure is a testimony to the man's courage and grace. A man who remains calm and stays aggressive if he misses is probably going to be able to handle any type of adversity life throws at him.
So is his on-court interaction with others. A team player constantly passing the ball and supporting his mates? Does he seem obsessed with himself and maybe even a ball hog? In a way, his sportsmanship and teamwork are more telling of character than everything else in life.
A game of basketball, in the simplest form, is a life lesson on how someone reacts to pressure, failure, success, and teamwork. Next time you observe somebody taking a shot at playing the sport of basketball, do not just see their score for over-viewing but take an effort to identify with depth and spotlight in more yet less about their scores on the scoreboard.
There is so much more to that than just a game.

I didn’t think Jin military discharge ARMYs could be a thing but apparently it’s possible! 😂
This is so wholesome and cute! One thing about @BTS_twt is if it’s not their music that grabs your attention, their personalities absolutely will 🥰💜

I still don’t know how we all casually just moved on from the fact that Jungkook dropped this dis-ease demo bridge that he wrote out of nowhere at 3 in the morning (kst) like it was nothing
