I SAW THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF MEDICAL QUACKERY TODAY!!!!!!
READ AND REPOST TO SAVE OTHERS.
A man came into my consulting room with his child of about 1 yr and 7months, with history of red coloured tears when he cries and also complained that the pee was also reddish in nature.
On assessment, I noticed that this child has some papules that is itchy. It look more like an impetigo.
I requested to know what he has given the child on this account.
To my greatest surprise, he said that a chemist woman gave him "RIFAMPICIN" and asked him to poor about 6 capsules inside Vitamin C syrup and give it to the child.
RIFAMPICIN???? for common Impetigo???
Government needs to phase out these chemist people from this medical space.

The day my wife went into labour, I made a very bold announcement.
“I’m coming inside the labour room,” I told the nurse confidently.
My wife even warned me.
“Are you sure? You might not be able to handle it.”
But I shook my head like a hero in a movie.
“Of course I can handle it. This is my child. I want to witness everything.”
We had been married for one year and six months, and this was our first baby. I wanted to be the supportive husband everyone talks about.
The nurses looked at me and asked one last time,
“Are you certain?”
I said proudly, “Yes.”
At first, everything seemed normal. I stood beside my wife, holding her hand and telling her she was strong.
Then the real labour started.
My wife began screaming in a way I had never heard before.
“Push!” the nurse shouted.
Another nurse was giving instructions. Doctors were moving around quickly. The room suddenly felt smaller.
I was still trying to be brave.
Then I looked down.
And that was when I saw blood.
Not small blood.
A lot of blood.
My head started spinning immediately.
The next thing I remember hearing was someone shouting,
“Catch him! Catch him!”
Apparently, I had slowly leaned backward… and then collapsed on the floor.
Yes.
While my wife was giving birth.
I was the one who fainted.
When I woke up, I was lying on another hospital bed with a nurse fanning me.
The first thing I asked was,
“Where is my wife? Is the baby okay?”
The nurse laughed and said,
“Your wife is strong. She finished delivering the baby while you were sleeping.”
Till today, my wife never lets me forget it.
Anytime someone praises me for being a brave husband, she just laughs and says:
“Brave? The man that fainted before the baby even came out.”
And honestly, I’ve learned something from that day.
Some experiences are better respected from a safe distance.
One of my patients had a Caesarean section
While still under anaesthesia, as she was just beginning to wake up, she started confessing.
She said she cheated on her husband. And she's not sure if this baby belongs to him or her boss.
Unfortunately, her husband was sitting right there on the bed. He heard everything.
Since then, he keeps asking me if the drugs can make her lie against herself. That he knows his wife, she couldn't have cheated on him.
I've been avoiding him. But I know he'll ask again.
Can a man be this naive? Or is he just trying to avoid facing reality?
What do I even say when he asks again?
@1OftenWonderWhy Nigeria is already over populated, hire women so population of extreme poverty will reduce. And so poor men will work harder to build themselves as they do so, they also build the country. Good times make weak men and weak men destroy the country.
