Tonight we share a moment of pride. Tomorrow Ofsted will publish their report. Woodchurch Road Academy is, and will remain, unapologetically WRA. Proud of what’s been recognised. Even prouder of who we are becoming. #wearecrew#learningwithoutlimits
WRA are so very fortunate, care and collaboration from the whole community, volunteering on a beautiful day, determined to make our school better for every child!! Thank you to the whole Crew!! Sensory spaces and kitchen gardens all underway! Now we need plants! #crew#rhs
Introducing our new WRA logo! The out line of our recognisable building and and a Birch tree from Birkenhead, possibly known as Birchen Head after the Birch trees that grew there. A symbol of new beginnings.
What a couple of days it’s been for Alfie Neal. After taking his first two senior wickets yesterday, he’s followed it up today with a hat trick and taking a further catch later on as he played for https://t.co/bypWUVWaM7 U14’s in their win at Kings School, Chester this afternoon
A brilliant game to watch tonight as our U13’s played @GwersylltParkCC . The visitors set an impressive target of 141 for the young Bucks to chase which sadly proved a step to far as the Bucks fell just short with 138 in reply. Leon Neal was the deserved Bucks Player of the Match
An action packed 1st half of the season for the U14s as they transitioned into 11 a side football.
They are learning new tactics and phases of play on a weekly basis.
It has been rewarding to have had a number of positive experiences in the 34 matches played ⚽
Stepping up to the plate for our 2XI at @HawardenParkCC yesterday were Alfie Neal and Lesley Mayers. Yes we were on the wrong end of the scoresheet but our teamsheet perfectly summed up what our club is all about, we had some excellent young players making their way….
Our juniors continue to impress. This time it’s Paul Threlfall and Alfie Neal who have been playing for @CricketWales North U13’s in a 40 over game at Colwyn Bay. The North ran out winners after posting an impressive 207 with the South 132 all out.
2 of Buckley’s stars of the future, Leon Neal U11’s and Oscar Sawrey U10’s playing against each for their North Wales squads today at @ClwbConwy . The future definitely is bright for Buckley 👏👏🏏🏏 Well done lads. We hope you enjoyed the day and had a great experience
A trip to Lilleshall with @airbusacademy U13's for their last contact of the season at the @shrewsacademy festival. Always a pleasure to coach these boys (win or lose) - they are improving as a group & all had plenty of individual & collective success today #youngwingmakers
