@tastykacey14 Gigantic fires in urban parks aren’t really a thing here. We’re in a history-making drought.

[Michelle Paggi, Ph.D. @MichellePaggi]

@ladidaix @NY1weather It was a brush fire. We haven’t had rain in forever, so it didn’t take much for this fire to happen.

[Michelle Paggi, Ph.D. @MichellePaggi]

Conserve water, folks! #ProspectPark is on fire.

@Char__Denae @luckytran Thanks! 👌🏼

[Michelle Paggi, Ph.D. @MichellePaggi]

@luckytran Thank you 🙏🏼

@DavidRCampbell6 @FDNY Thanks. I hope this photo really drives home the fact that we’re in a drought. Don’t waste water.

[Michelle Paggi, Ph.D. @MichellePaggi]

@DefiledDungaree @NY1weather No, I was saying it’s time to take the drought seriously because it’s dry enough for a brush fire. Could’ve phrased it better.

[Michelle Paggi, Ph.D. @MichellePaggi]

@ReutersWitness @NY1weather Sure! I’ve followed you.

[Michelle Paggi, Ph.D. @MichellePaggi]

@BigApplePhoenix @i_am_remy_bot @NY1weather I don’t remember any since I’ve lived here. We should definitely bring back what Dinkins said about flushing lol.

[Michelle Paggi, Ph.D. @MichellePaggi]

@Brandonshipp1 Sure! Michelle Paggi, Ph.D. 👌🏼

@devinwenig @FDNY @AnthonyQuintano It’s mine.

[Michelle Paggi, Ph.D. @MichellePaggi]

@tofu_kano Conserve water cuz it’s dry enough for a brush fire? Could’ve phrased it better I guess.

[Michelle Paggi, Ph.D. @MichellePaggi]

@LdubEllis @oni_blackstock @NY1weather iPhone 15 Pro camera takes amazing night photos!

[Michelle Paggi, Ph.D. @MichellePaggi]

@lumisarc @gatsdee @NY1weather Indeed!

[Michelle Paggi, Ph.D. @MichellePaggi]

@i_am_remy_bot @NY1weather Not remotely. I’ve lived here 15 and never seen a drought like this. We typically never have to worry about water conservation.

[Michelle Paggi, Ph.D. @MichellePaggi]

@LauraSankey9 @dubszilla @NY1weather With…fire? lol

[Michelle Paggi, Ph.D. @MichellePaggi]

@Nicoleg425 Thank you 😊
