Been a month since life in #Manipur is no longer the same . Got off the call with a friend today who's really concerned about how he's gonna support his family with nearly all of his income sources being affected by the ongoing conflict and no sign of conflict resolution.

Couple of yrs back at my convocation from @azimpremjiuniv, I told my mom dat I had classmates who are in their 40s, 50s and even 1 who is 61 and that if they can, she can too! Fast forward a couple of years and here I am at her convocation with my professors who r now hers too!💜

I remember checking flights for colleagues stuck in Manipur and finding 15-25K for one way flights to cities in the rest of India. Truly showed an example of survival of the fittest or those with Money & Privilege!
