My circumstance does not dictate my joy nor dampen my gratitude. This GenX girlie loves Jesus, my family, my friends, my kitty, and THE Ohio State Buckeyes!
"So much of life comes down to managing our thoughts—what we contemplate, what we ponder, what voices we allow to go around in our heads. Behavior is preceded by belief, so if you want to change your behavior, go upstream and deal with your beliefs." https://t.co/kxIIOQXF1F
Hope for when you aren’t sure if you can press through one more hard situation...
“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” 1 Peter 5:10
He brings beauty from the ashes and breathes life into dry bones. We’ve seen Him do it before and know He will do it again.
Keep believing that something new and beautiful is right around the corner.
@MissyBuchanan It's lovely! My husband died in Aug. I put up the tree in mid Nov. Right now it has one ornament - a memorial ornament w/his pic and print. And I set up a ceramic nativity set just given to me that my great aunt made in 1973. Hard, but I try to let grief and joy exist together.
Martin Luther once said, “God doesn’t need your good works, but your neighbor does.” The same is true of congregational singing.
Your neighbors need your church’s singing. https://t.co/qzIU9iVJij
