@LFCjparny@ah_01s@LFC Profile: Born 2002 .....explains it! Smicer was sh1te and on his way out when he scored that goal. How the hell he's in the top 100 I've no idea.
@ad313h Terrible take. His reputation was built on spotting the best talent at the best price.
The players we bought were for top ££££ and didn't take much 'spotting'
Leaving no money to fill other gaping holes in the squad.
Hughes and Edwards should have gone with slot
@Micks2B I've been banging on about this since last season.
We've spent MILLIONS on Frimpong Isak Wirtz Kerkez Ekitike etc.....hardly took geniuses to spot these players and pay top £££
I thought part of Edwards/Hughes appeal was the ability to spot the next wolrd beaters for decent ££
@LFCApproved The problem is......don't want to let players run down their contracts .... don't want to pay what players want.....want (very) top dollar for players.
Unfortunately that doesn't work
@JamesPearceLFC The much better question is, "Right man wrong squad?". Do we / will we (by the start of the season) have the team / squad that can play that type of football consistently twice a week?
@30YearsRed It's a brilliant decision and one arsenal obviously practice because Gabriel does it multiple times a game.
Grabs the opponent (or jumps into an opponent) and then jumps on the floor arm spread. I watch in disbelief as every ref in this country falls for it consistently.
@30YearsRed That's my take to and I hope Edwards / Hughes can find a few gems to fill all them (even if 1 or 2 don't work out). Rather than splash £250m on 2 or 3 players and say that's it. Because the squad will be completely lobsided
Clown club if Konate goes for free. That’ll be a title winning RB, LB and CB all walking out the door for £10m combined, for a team that operates on sell to buy principals that’s not the best option.
