Is the mental health crisis in this country completely out of control, do we have the sickest group of working age people we have EVER had….or are a significant chunk playing the system….malingering. The numbers are astonishing 6.6m working age people now claiming work related benefits, that’s gone up an astonishing 2.7m in just 7 yrs. HUGE numbers of young 16-24 and 16-34 yr old suffering from some form of mental health issue or personal independence (disability issue.) do we believe that or is chronic laziness and lack of responsibility now a medial condition? The benefits bill (and I’m not even including pensions) will bankrupt this country….and very very quickly. We must slash benefits massively and fast!
