I’m releasing a redacted copy of the State of Texas’s 75-page Notice of Intent to Use Extraneous Offenses in State v. Karmelo Sincere Anthony. My team obtained this through an open-records request to Collin County.
Included are 75 pages detailing texts and alleged offenses from Karmelo’s past - much of which was not presented to the jury during trial - including threats, physical violence, weapons, drugs, and was a long pattern of increasingly disturbing behavior leading up to the fatal stabbing of Austin Metcalf on April 2, 2025.
At one point, Karmelo took a video of himself aiming a gun at someone’s house before running away.
Since Karmelo’s supporters continue attempting to shift the focus to the Metcalf twins and portray them as “bullies,” I think it’s time to set a few things straight.
1. Karmelo’s past is relevant because Karmelo was the defendant.
Not Austin. Not his brother, Hunter.
The State compiled these records because it believed Karmelo’s prior conduct could be relevant evidence in the criminal prosecution against him.
2. Whatever teenage mischief may exist in the twins’ past, it does not explain Karmelo’s actions.
THEIR file is substantially smaller, but more importantly, Karmelo did not know Austin or Hunter, and they did not know Karmelo.
Their unrelated past therefore could not have influenced Karmelo’s decision-making during an encounter with students he had never met before.
Yet an enormous amount of energy has been spent digging through the lives of Austin, Hunter and their family while attempting to minimize what prosecutors documented about the person who was actually on trial.
3. Now let’s talk about the photograph being circulated of one of the twins with his mother.
The photograph is referenced in the appeal on page 21, item 30. However, the photograph is not shown there. Instead, the defense characterizes the image as showing him grabbing his mother “aggressively.”
That description leaves out critical context.
The image is a still frame taken from a video of one of the boys messing around and playing with Meghan. His hand is not wrapped around her neck in the image; it appears positioned alongside it.
There are also visual anomalies in the circulating version that, in my view, raise legitimate questions about whether the image has been altered. The fingers near the beer can appear unnaturally positioned, with one finger pointed in the opposite direction, and what looks like part of the couch pattern appears on the right side of the can itself.
This warrants scrutiny … especially when a single frame has been stripped from a larger video and leaked to the “Black Atlantic Star” without the context of what occurred before and after it.
This has become part of a prolonged campaign against the Metcalf family, while somehow losing sight of a basic fact:
Karmelo Anthony was the person on trial.
And while much of the media has extensively covered the defense’s arguments surrounding his appeal, remarkably little attention has been given to the full scope of what prosecutors documented about Karmelo’s history.
So I’m going to show you.
All 75 pages.
I’ve grouped the document into four pages per post below. This will be a long thread, but I’m sharing every single page so people can read the underlying filing themselves instead of relying on someone else to tell them what it says.
Read it for yourself. Then decide whether the public has been given the full picture.

WAKE UP! It's not just the Demoncrats screwing with elections. It never ceases to amaze me how stupid the idiots (RINOs) in the Senate think we are. @LeaderJohnThune@SenatorFischer@SenatorRicketts
are visiting state fairs and have no time to secure our elections-SMDH 🙄
@LeaderJohnThune WTF South Dakota? I'm sure @LeaderJohnThune knows he deserves no such honor 🤬
Did anyone ask him how much money he's making by sabotaging President Trump's agenda and gleefully handing the Senate to the Demoncrats. I'll wait...🙄
@BrinkerHarding Whoever told you this was a top issue for Nebraskans lied to you. Make a commercial about how you're going to implement the Save America Act and maybe I'll start listening.
Dan Osborn has proven Nebraskans cannot trust him. He was caught on tape admitting he is lying to voters.
He wants to abolish ICE and push a Democrat socialist agenda he knows is toxic in Nebraska. That’s why he is hiding what he really believes and pretending to be something he’s not.
Dan Osborn is deceiving Nebraskans to get elected. He cannot be trusted.
@PatUnleashed Unfortunately I am unable to view your show on Pluto so it's Fox or RAV for me. I'm getting pretty used to them and I don't have the time or the patience for this sh1t 🙄
Keep this handy for when Democrats blame Republicans for the cost of healthcare.
"Family healthcare for the price of a cable bill." 😜
Premiums and insurance company profits have skyrocketed, with the taxpayer subsidizing the entire scam.
