It was an awesome and busy first day! Mrs.Burns' kindergarten kings and queens went on a school tour to hunt for Pete the Cat! We never found him but had a blast visiting with the principals! Kindergarten rocks in their school shoes! @VMEPatriots @VMEKinderKids @ @collierschools

Final Days in Mrs.Burns Dino-dig site! How many of our shoe prints fit in a T-Rex or Triceratops foot print? How many steps long is an Apatosaurus or a T-Rex? It took rulers, chalk and our shoes to find out! Look many kids fit in a Dino outline! @collierschools @VMEPatriots

Day 5 in Mrs.Burns' Dino-dig. We learned all about fossils and created own own fossils. We are observant just like Paleontologists! @VMEPatriots @collierschools @VMEKinderKids

Day 4 in Mrs.Burns' Dino dig! We had a T-rexiffic time digging out our dinosaur eggs and writing our paleontologist reports! @collierschools @VMEPatriots @VMEKinderKids

Day 3 in Mrs.Burns' Dino-dig site was exca-exciting! We drove our jeep past the volcano and through the cretaceous forest to rescued our dinos from the mud, quicksand and gravel (pudding, whip cream and Oreos.) Experimenting was roaring good fun! @VMEPatriots @collierschools

Day 2 in Mrs. Burns' Dino-dig site and we are busy excavating chocolate chip fossils! It was T-Rexcellent fun! We learned Paleontologists have to be very careful and work hard to get those chip fossils out! @VMEKinderKids @VMEPatriots @collierschools

It's snowing in kindergarten! In science today Mrs.Burns' class made snow and changed it by rolling, squishing, cutting, and hammering. Matter can be changed and it is fun! @VMEPatriots @collierschools @VMEKinderKids

Literacy and science in Kindergarten! Mrs. Burns' class read Bear's Shadow and then went out in the sun this morning and this afternoon to see what happened to our shadow just like bears! @MickeyzMagic @VMEKinderKids @collierschools @VMEPatriots
