Hi all,
Due to “executive burnout”, we are looking to appoint two more Associate Assistant Vice Assistant Associate Vice Principals for September. There’s no extra money but you won’t get a tutor group, thus freeing up an hour a week to do that extra 45 hours work.
Thanks x
Hi all,
We are looking for a Cover Supervisor. They’ll be based in the English Department, have their own classes, plan lessons and mark books and assessments. They’ll be just like a teacher but on half the salary. Oh, yes, and they won’t get paid in the holidays.
Thanks x

Hi all,
Due to a miscalculation, we think you have actually only completed 1264 of your 1265 hours this year. To rectify this, there will be a briefing on Monday at 8am. One of the Assistant Assistant Vice Assistant Vice Principals will play a clip of VAK or Maslow.
Thanks x
It was an honour to represent the NASUWT at the Durham Miners’ Gala yesterday. Listening to the brass band, the enthusiasm of members as they marched through Durham, and seeing our flags and banners made me immensely proud to be part of this union.
Huge turn out at the 139th Durham Miners Gala today. It will long outlast Farage, Starmer & the rest of them - just as it has Thatcher.. @DurhamGala
“We don’t just march to honour the past, we march because that struggle is still needed. We march because people need hope and change.” - Acting General Secretary of NASUWT, Matt Wrack
Tomorrow, the spirit of solidarity will be alive in the streets of Durham from the striking up of the first band.
Please enjoy the day, look after each other, respect the bands, the banners and the history of the Gala.
Gan canny.
Jeremy's back…
Mr Corbyn returns to speak to the #DurhamMinersGala tomorrow.
Jeremy has been a great supporter of the DMA and our communities for half a century and backed us throughout the 1984-85 Miners’ Strike.
