@MetroVideoGame The Dark Ones aren't evil. It looks like they were guarding the kids when the adult was away. In order to incite to anger the Dark Ones, they had the kids dealt with. Perhaps the new game is a re-contextualizing of the first game, they try to unite the Metro to a Common "threat".
