Noble drive by @ARUA_News to increase the number of PhDs trained in Africa. We must pay particular attention and regularly evaluate the quality of the training, for what purpose we are training and the culture in which African PhDs are trained. #BetterDealforAfricanResearchers
The NRF has expressed support for the ARUA-The Guild initiative to build Clusters of Research Excellence. It is committed to supporting the new ARUA drive to produce 1000 PhDs annually. Funmi Olonisakin stressed the need to pursue transformational research.
