To whom it may concern:
Maybe ask yourself why you are defending politicians over defending everyday people who pay these politicians to actually fucking do something?
@nicholaswu12@AndrewYang@DaniellaMicaela@sarahnferris I'm glad more are saying this.
The Dems telling concerned parties to "just fall in line" are forgetting that they don't need to cater to the #VoteBlueNoMatterWho crowd. They need to cater to the ones who refuse to vote for either of 2 main, terrible choices.
@VABVOX Imo, on some major issues, many Republicans and Democrats are aligned. (Particularly those who are exposed to different people and perspectives.)
There is just more incentive for self-serving "representatives" to highlight differences.
@ProjectLincoln No matter what political side you're on, rejecting Issue One was so important for democracy.
They were counting on the people not thinking about how much power we'd be giving up if this passed. But we showed up!
Ohio Issue One was a scary, anti-democratic initiative. It appears our "representatives" forgot that they are supposed to represent us-not screw us over. I'm so proud of Ohioans for stepping up and rejecting the issue one attempt to silence our votes and concerns.
@therecount Batistas work..unlike him. If he doesn't like the system, he could change it so that students can't take out large loans, or lower the interest rates. But no. Instead he's whining about more people voting in a....democracy.
Well, several months under a "new" administration and no systemic change. Almost as if voting for the same ppl and platitudes won't get us anywhere.
Imo we really need to make the most of local elections. Maybe build up a real candidate that cares abt everyday ppl&the future.🤷🏿♀️
@MichaelSatoshi I would even say that previous generations were not screwed over in the way that our future's being ruined (education costs, education quality, healthcare costs, social security, etc). We need empathy in voting and get understanding in the issues of today and effect on future.
@davidsirota@ninaturner Incredible how Clyburn continues to set back this country with his endorsements. First the presidential primaries and now this.
@PatrikOpacic Definitely not.
It's crazy how people with everything are never satisfied with all the profits they get from overworking and underpaying others.
@kingabel12@ZachandMattShow I think people just aren't invested enough in politics and yet wonder things are so screwed up. Even if it wasn't Yang...i can't believe anyone would vote for Adams. This country is addicted to politicians who dgaf about them.
