Incredible night with @StornowayBand at the Sheldonian Theatre. Farewell Appalachia was stunning as always. Huge shout-outs to Charlotte and Adam (grade 8 axe-player) though who play incredible numbers of instruments.
Looking forward to the Beyonder concert in the Sheldonian Theatre starting shortly with @StornowayBand
What an experience to sing here with this group! โค๏ธ
Practising Josephine by @StornowayBand before we join the scratch choir and Stornoway at the Sheldonian Theatre on Sunday! Got our two boys and and even got them to not sing "Throw me down the stairs now ..." ๐
@StornowayBand Can't wait for Sunday! We got our 8-year-old singing Brian's part to Josephine so my wife and I can practice our parts! (Sorry โ no recordings of my kids on social media though.) And the 6-year-old has just been singing Josephine. We're ALL Stornoway fans in this house!
Unbelievably excited to be seeing @StornowayBand again and singing in the scratch choir with my wife for Beyonder! It'll be our 15th anniversary! What a treat!
We've only just had a concert where we performed Handel's Dixit Dominus to mark 25 years of @Mikethetrumpet leading Cantamus Chamber Choir ... and we're straight into rehearsals for Christmas! Never a dull moment! Here's the next date for your diary ... #choral#concerts
Looking forward to our concert THIS SUNDAY in Bradford on Avon at 4pm, featuring Bernstein's Chichester Psalms (which has been really fun to sing, by the way)
Come along and have a listen โ get your tickets on the door #choral#concerts
As Iโm enjoying gigs from the other side, Brad Mehldau and Gloucester Choral yesterday with Snarky Puppy and Cassie Kinoshi coming up itโs reminded me how super it is to relax and listen to othersโฆ..SO NEXT SUNDAY 4pm, super programme with @CantamusWilts
Thank you @StornowayBand for reforming and doing another tour. My wife and and have loved your music since your first album but never seen you live. Great to finally see you live in Bristol last night โ and we were blown away by how great you are live ๐ฆโค๏ธ
Just read an article from The Guardian, and it brought to mind arguments by @SayersMark: Society has successfully deconstructed everything, but isn't actually happy with our new, boundary-less world. Social media must be regulated! Yes, but in line with whose vision?
@dangrabham@ThreeUK ๐ฒ So surprised by this. People have spent significant amounts of time at home ... do they not have WiFi?! Can't help but feel that a lot of this is poor data management. Not that it's necessarily a problem ... if people's contracts permit it, there's no issue!
