Please be advised that some of Devon’s clothing banks are set to be removed at the end of January, due to a nation-wide review of banks operated by the Salvation Army.

The rise of fast and ultra-fast fashion has resulted in a difficult few years for the textile market and as a result, The Salvation Army has taken the decision to adjust their clothing bank network to ensure a sustainable future.

Clothing that is in good condition can still be donated at the remainder of Devon’s clothing banks, local charity shops or via your kerbside collection if you have one.

We are currently installing a new admin system to improve the way we deliver our trade waste services.

To ensure a smooth transition, we are unable to set up new customers or make changes to existing collections from today (16 January) to 2 March.

All currently scheduled collections will continue as normal.
