UPDATE: Tonight's HighSchoolOT Jamboree is being called for the night due to inclement weather. The games are postponed until Monday, Aug. 10. The games will still be held at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary. Play stopped in the first half of Game 2 tonight. Exact times for makeup games to be determined. We will update with more information when we know.

Down 8-5 in the 4Q, No. 5 Middle Creek stormed back to take down Cardinal Gibbons in overtime, 9-8.

Senior Reed Stack had the game-winning goal in overtime.

The win propelled the Mustangs to first place in Conference 10 and was also the 200th career victory for head coach Nick Holota.

Middle Creek wrapped up the regular season tonight with a 37-7 win at Holly Springs. The Mustangs enter the playoffs with a 7-2 record and a second-place finish in the Triangle Six Conference.

Tennis DUAL Team: Made 3rd round regionals for the first time in school history!

Individuals: Delany White placed 3rd and, Lilly Hintermeier 4th in singles! Doubles team Karina/Emerson are the 25 6A REGIONAL CHAMPIONS! They are headed to the State Match on Friday, Oct. 24th.
