We do want voter ID though. Go ahead. Issue every citizen a free ID that's easy and free to update/replace and require bringing that to vote. Oh? That's not what you meant? You just want everyone to jump through hoops to vote? Gotcha, stfu then.
@BudElliott3@Cover3Podcast And sorry to spam you. I just have a hard time believing talent will be what gets in ND’s way this year. They have proven talent at every level of the field in some capacity. My worry is more that the scheme could ruin the talent if it’s not matched properly.
@BudElliott3@Cover3Podcast The ultimate thing that plays in people’s heads from last season is Leonard Moore being out of position at the end of the first half in the Miami game. And the DBs were a mess against A&M.
@BudElliott3@Cover3Podcast That’s fair, but I think it downplays how good ND is even without those players. A better take would be the defensive scheme vs. top teams didn’t look great last year, and that could be the difference between them and true title contention.
@BudElliott3@Cover3Podcast I think your phrasing makes it seem like those players are the chasm between where they stand now, and the national title and that I disagree with.
@BudElliott3@Cover3Podcast I disagree with the idea that there aren’t other proven difference-makers on the roster who can fill those holes. They’re not just throwing darts at a board. I’d agree more if the take was that, fully healthy, they’re a top 3-5 title contender instead of top 10.
@BudElliott3@Cover3Podcast I think this is a good take 2-3 years ago, also, it is FLAT OUT a bad take, but don’t be dismissive of people disagreeing with your takes. I am actually a fan of yours and appreciate what you do, but this isn’t a courtroom, we have season for a reason.
@BudElliott3@Cover3Podcast I can name 4-5 starters that are all American potential players that are healthy. Drayk Bowen, Leonard Moore, Tae Johnson, CJ Carr, DJ McKinney OR Christian Gray, Adon Schuler. This is just a poor take.
@BudElliott3@Cover3Podcast Name the injury prone guy that puts the healthy roster over the top. Bud, just admit you don’t know the 2 deep and you know that 2-3 starters may be currently injured. Once again I appreciate that you try to be fair, but ultimately, I think this is one of your worse takes.
@RiseNDraft Look, I hate BK as much as the next man. And yes, he has not really changed, however, I think if you listened to the pod understanding those things, it was a good podcast. Does it change my opinion of BK, no, did the independent do a good job of interviewing him. Yes.
@PeteSampson_ Enjoyed the Pod. I am not a fan of BK, however, I think yall did a good job of allowing him to tell his side of things, in a general sense, and I think y’all did a good job of not turning it into the let’s love BK episode. He deserves a bit of credit for how ND is vs. 20 yrs ago.
