@atlurbanist It was determined during inspection in the punchlist phase that the contractor used the wrong paint type. They were instructed to remediate it and repaint to satisfy the contract.
The contractor will continue with the finishing touches on the corridor over the next two months. Then the project will advance to the next phase of work further north on West Peachtree and on Spring St south of 17th St. More details: https://t.co/DEmhweAify.
Remember: it's illegal to park in a bike lane or travel lane. In addition, the on-street parking, now located away from the curb, has been restriped and is available to use. Drivers should also notice new "No Turn on Red" signs, which is now the law at most Midtown intersections.
