@atlurbanist It was determined during inspection in the punchlist phase that the contractor used the wrong paint type. They were instructed to remediate it and repaint to satisfy the contract.

Progress on paving and restriping from Linden Ave to 14th St is mostly complete. New configuration = 3 vehicular travel lanes, on-street metered parking , and a protected bike lane.

Remember: it's illegal to park in a bike lane or travel lane. In addition, the on-street parking, now located away from the curb, has been restriped and is available to use. Drivers should also notice new "No Turn on Red" signs, which is now the law at most Midtown intersections.

In a major step toward improving safety for all roadway users, especially for pedestrians and other non-motorized users, the Atlanta Department of Transportation is actively installing “No Turn on Red” signs throughout Midtown and Downtown.
