Disney launched a new ad where a dad and son share a night time walk on a cruise ship, across an entire lifetime.
Every parent needs to hear this: the moments feel small until they’re gone.
Put down the phone. Spend the time. It’s the only thing they’ll remember.
Statement from NBA commissioner Adam Silver: “When we became aware of the Atlanta Hawks’ scheduled promotion, we reached out to Hawks leadership to better understand their plans and rationale. While we appreciate the team’s perspective and their desire to move forward, we have heard significant concerns from a broad array of league stakeholders, including fans, partners and employees. I believe canceling this promotion is the right decision for the broader NBA community.”
I went to see this. Parents shouldn’t take kids under 10 to see this movie. Kids 10-13 years old should see it with parents and have a discussion afterwards. It is the darkest Pixar film with heavy themes, destruction and violence due to the main character’s selfishness and bad decisions, none of the main human characters are likable, promotes a message of “all people are good inside” and that “animals should be elevated to the same level as humans” (neither biblical). It’s also completely void of joy, atypical for a Pixar film. Only a handful of laughs and instead a focus on heavy and serious topics. Can’t imagine any children wanting to watch this film a second time let alone over and over again.
Lebron is regularly on a black podcast b/c he runs one. He hosts black commentators on The Shop. He regularly puts money back into his black community. He regularly speaks out on behalf of his black community. But I’m supposed to care that the Pivot didn’t get an interview
Respectfully @KingJames I agree 100% with what the guy says below; not with calling it a “sucka move” like it is written in the post. Of all the platforms to take this to and all the options out there, why add to the top of the hill on this. You are the force, not the legacy network show. This ain’t about Pat McAfee, the essence of the main point is greater than that. Your power is appreciated where your amplification is needed* and most* felt, just like with all your charitable efforts. We will see you no matter where you go. Obviously, a grown man —and a legend at that—can & should go about as he pleases. Just a thought for the future. With regards. J.

my solution to the NBA All-Star game is to move the actual game to Rucker Park.
make a tent or bring heat lamps but I bet you the NBA players will show up and show out.
