সম্প্রতি পুলিশ কর্তার মা-বৌ এর উদ্দেশ্যে নোংরা অশ্রাব্য বাক্যালাপ তৃণমূল নেতা করলেও পুলিশ চুপ থাকে ও কোনরূপ পুলিশি হস্তক্ষেপ ছাড়া রাজনৈতিক নেতাকে প্রশ্��য় দেওয়া হয়। অথচ কিছু যুবক 'জয় শ্রী রাম' ধ্বনি দিলে মমতার চটিচাটা পুলিশের গায়ে লেগে যায়, একেবারে তেলে বেগুনে জ্বলে ওঠে।

গতকাল জলপাইগুড়ির মাটিগাড়াতে একটি ঘটনাকে কেন্দ্র করে কিছু যুবক জয় শ্রী ধ্বনি দিচ্ছিল তখন মমতা পুলিশ এক যুবককে যথারীতি ধমকি দিয়ে বলে ওঠে - "তোকে রাতে দেখে নিবো, বল আরো জয় শ্রী রাম, রাতে শুন���ো তোর জয় শ্রী রাম" ইত্যাদি।
