The worst thing about bad governance is that, it would affect you whether you voted for it or not, whether you wanted it or not.
The last 11 years of APC has been destroying us, against our wishes.
His Excellency, Mr Peter Obi is hosting a Digital TownHall today.

Abduction of 20 Youth Corps Members: Insecurity Must Not Be a Norm
The abduction of approximately 20 prospective NYSC members travelling to their orientation camp is yet another distressing indication of the worsening insecurity in our country. These young Nigerians were preparing to serve their nation, but they were unable to travel safely on our roads. Families are increasingly burdened by the fear that their loved ones could fall victim to kidnapping.
Protecting lives and property is the government’s foremost responsibility. We cannot continue to regard insecurity as an ordinary occurrence or act only after people’s lives have been disrupted.
I call for the immediate and safe rescue of all the abducted corps members and the arrest of those responsible. Nigeria must become a country where young people can travel, work, and serve their nation without fear. -PO
At 32 I was editing Papa Ajasco and Super Story, trying to become a director.
One night officers who had been drinking shot me through my car. I am 47 now. The hand is dead. I edit with my left hand for $10 and $20 so my children can eat. I won in court.
The police have ignored the judgment since 2015. The officer’s name is in their own report. Ayuba Philip ID 257745.
Please tag em until @TunjiDisu1 & @CspIniedu see this impunity. Thank you

In 2014, as a First-Class graduate, Peter Obi recognised and rewarded my academic achievement with ₦1,000,000.
12 years later, in Abuja, I stood beside him again, this time as a communication professional with a voice of my own.
My support for him is deeply personal, rooted in a moment I have never forgotten. H.E Mr. Peter Obi invested so much in education that the gains of his good works still remain for all to see.
From recognition to responsibility. From the classroom to the public square. 🇳🇬
Do not forget to join Mr. Peter Obi in a New Nigeria Global Digital Townhall on Sunday, October 4, 2026, time is 7:00 PM WAT/GMT | 2 PM EST | 12 PM MST. Attendance is by registration. Visit: https://t.co/56CzQeCgsq.

At the Gen Z town hall, a young woman told us that in the local government area she has lived for most of her life, the road by her house has needed repairs for about 15 years. She said that certain areas, the so-called "less developed" ones, seem to be left behind whenever development in Lagos comes up, and asked what plans we have for them.
It was a powerful question that goes beyond just one road. It is about how neglect occurs and how it is felt. When that happens residents conclude they don't matter, whether because of demography or geography. No area of Lagos should ever feel that way.
Her question also speaks to how devolution is key to effective government. No meaningful progress is possible without devolving power to local governments and building their capacity as real partners in governing, not emasculated subordinates.
Now more than ever, it's time for a new way for Lagos.
We cannot keep allocating huge resources on new contracts, many of which never get proper scrutiny, while neglecting the infrastructure we already have.
My government will:
1. Fund, equip, empower and energize the works departments in our local governments, and coordinate them with the state agency, so that fixing a road no longer has to wait endlessly on Alausa.
2. Emphasize effective management to ensure we get the full benefit from existing infrastructure, even as we insist that government must be more judicious when we invest in new projects.
No part of Lagos will be left behind under my watch.

This is Mr. Justin Azubike Owefu, popularly known as “Biggie,” a young husband, father, graduate of Delta State University, Abraka, and PalmPay agent covering Obiaruku, Abraka and Warri.
According to accounts from his relatives and associates, Biggie was involved in a phone-financing arrangement where customers paid for phones in instalments. The phones could be remotely restricted when payments were overdue.
The trouble allegedly began after Moses Okitikpi of Abraka obtained a phone valued at ₦185,000 through the arrangement, paid ₦30,000 initially and agreed to pay ₦11,000 weekly.
It was alleged that Moses defaulted on several payments, after which the phone was restricted. Despite making some subsequent payments, he reportedly demanded that the phone be unlocked immediately.
His guarantor, Onome Okitikpi, was also reportedly involved in the dispute.
On September 10, 2026, at about 8:30 p.m., Biggie was allegedly confronted by Moses and Onome while he was on the road with his wife and 10-year-old daughter.
They reportedly demanded that he unlock the phone immediately. Biggie allegedly explained that the unlocking process was not instant and could take up to three days.
According to the account, the situation escalated. His phone and other belongings were allegedly taken from him.
When Biggie reportedly tried to retrieve his phone, he was allegedly pushed, fell and hit his head on the tarred road.
He suffered a serious head injury and reportedly went into a coma for three days. Doctors allegedly recommended emergency surgery estimated at about ₦10 million.
Sadly, Biggie died on September 13, 2026.
The matter was reportedly reported at Abraka Police Station on September 11. However, family and friends say they are concerned about the pace of the investigation and fear that the matter could be abandoned.
We therefore call on the Nigeria Police Force, the Inspector-General of Police and the Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, to urgently investigate the circumstances surrounding Biggie’s death.
Anyone found culpable should face the law.
A young husband, father, son and hardworking Nigerian has lost his life over a dispute that could have been resolved without violence.

Protecting Every Vote. Winning 2027. Together.
My fellow Nigerians at home and abroad,
Over the past months, wherever I go and in your many messages, two questions keep coming up: How will our votes be protected in 2027? And how will we win?
These are fair questions, and you deserve direct answers.
This Sunday, I will answer you directly, and more importantly, listen to you. I will join you for A New Nigeria Global Digital Townhall. We will speak plainly about protecting every vote and the path to victory.
But this is not only about speaking to you. It is about listening to you. I want to hear your concerns, your insights and your strategies. This movement has always been built by you, and your ideas will shape what we do next.

Let us continue this conversation together. A New Nigeria is POSSIBLE. -PO
I want to say a big thank you to the organizers of The Platform Nigeria's Gen Z town hall yesterday. I also thank the young lagosians who sacrificed their public holiday to be there and the candidates who came and showed respect to our young Lagosians, the lifeblood of this city.
As I told the young people in the hall: you are the biggest part of Lagos today. You are Lagos and Lagos is you.
Every society is built on a social contract that should be sacred. The people work, contribute to society, pay taxes and are law-abiding, and government, on its part acts for the good of everyone. The question is: if a government does not keep its side of the bargain, what are you willing to do about it?
Positive change is possible, but it starts with you. As you evaluate alternatives, you should interrogate ideas and consider the capacity and courage of candidates to deliver. Examine track records. What have they done before? At what scale? Who can vouch for them?
Then come out for what you believe in.
Next week, we will release details of our manifesto: specifics that we commit to deliver, how we will deliver it, and a scorecard to hold us accountable.
Sign up at https://t.co/8bDML4HPOs to see it, and to volunteer and canvass. If every one of you brings five people, we will change Lagos.
As we travel across the state, our message is simple: it's time for a new way for Lagos.

The ADC Vice presidential candidate just confirmed that the political class and every other person knows that Peter Obi means every word he says and they are now re-echoing his message.
On the issue of subsidy, Peter Obi has been clear from day one, that he will deal with the corruption in the oil and gas sector, and he will not take a penny from government funds meant for the country. “If you the head doesn’t steal, your wife doesn’t steal, you reduce corruption by 50%”.
This is your proof to Vote for Peter Obi because his word, is his bond.

Independence Is Meaningless Without Real Freedom
As we continue to reflect on Nigeria’s Independence, we must remember that independence means very little if citizens cannot freely express themselves, within the bounds of the law, without fear.
Reports that some Nigerians in Akwa Ibom were arrested simply for identifying with the Obidient Movement should worry every Nigerian who believes in democracy and freedom, especially when such identification is a constitutional right.
One of the greatest tragedies of our society is that people who once described themselves as freedom fighters can become defenders of oppression when they eventually occupy positions of authority. Those who once complained about injustice can become comfortable with injustice when it is being perpetrated against people they disagree with. That must not be the Nigeria we accept.
Our independence must ultimately mean freedom from fear, injustice, intolerance and abuse of power.
Nigeria must belong to all of us. -PO
This brings back fond memories of our many road trips across Nigeria in 2022–23 —especially the night we spent sleeping in our cars at a fueling station in the forest outside Kaiama, Kwara State.
His Excellency Peter Obi and I are still agile and fully ready for the task ahead. Are you? - RMK
