Grief comes in waves.

This is A , 10years of age here, she was defiled by her uncle & at 9yrs got pregnant. She was so tiny with a burgeoning belly. I remember during the rescue going behind the car to cry.

At 34wks , she went into premature labour and baby Joy was born, a little baby holding another baby. She only managed to survive for 8days.

With her CS wound still fresh she laid her little baby to rest. She hadn't processed the grief or understood what had happened.

Her father refused her to come back home. We took her to a boarding school. She is thriving little by little.

My soul still hurts at the damage we instill in the children of this country.
