Joe Schoen in the 25’ offseason gave:
Darius Slayton 3 yr 36 mil
Jamie Gillan 3 yr 9 mil
James Hudson 2 yr 11 mil
Russ Wilson 1 yr 21 mil
Jevon Holland 3 yr 45 mil
Paulson Adebo 3 yr 54 mil
Robertson Harris 2 yr 10 mil
Chauncey Golston 3 yr 19 mil
Chris Board 2 yr 6 mil
Horrid.
Let Saquon, McKinney, and Love walk; Traded Leonard Williams; drafted Evan Neal, Deonte Banks, and the entire 2023 draft class; helped scapegoat one of the front runners for MVP last season (DANIEL JONES).
He shouldn't be the Giants GM. But hey, at least they got John Harbaugh.
The 2011 season that Eli Manning put together is one of the greatest single seasons I’ve ever seen from a quarterback. He put that team on his back and carried them to comeback wins over and over again.
John Harbaugh was always planning to impact and reboot many areas of the Giants operation. He needed that power in writing to transition his winning machine in Baltimore into a winning machine in NY. …It has begun.
This is why the John Harbaugh hire was so critical. It’s not just a replacement of one unknown HC for another.
It’s a complete overhaul of the organization. Harbaugh is a program builder. He has a vision and a proven track record of winning.
Now he’s trying to bring that winning program to NY and I couldn’t be happier or more excited.
The #Giants have parted ways with Kevin Abrams, their Senior VP of Football Operations and Strategy, sources say, as part of organizational restructuring.
A respected employee for nearly 30 years, Abrams has been a mainstay through every regime. Now, NYG has moved on.
For the “John Harbaugh took the Giants job too soon” crowd given the Bills head coaching position opening up…
This was from last week:
“John Harbaugh was picturing himself in Giants colors last week, a couple days after he was fired. "I think this is the job for me," he told at least one person.
- @Ian_OConnor of @TheAthletic
Again, John Harbaugh was literally picturing himself in Giants colors and being the head coach of the Giants.
His own father thought it would be crazy to go anywhere else other than the Giants.
It wasn’t, “oh, I might like this job until something else comes along.” The Giants job was the one he wanted.
Do not forget that the Giants are a rebuilding team because Joe Schoen & Co. decided to dismantle Dave Gettleman’s roster. This is also a regime that cannot handle the kicker situation for 2 seasons. And we are letting him pick his 2nd head coach. FIRE EVERYONE!
