HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE GREATEST PLAYER ON PLANET EARTH, JALEN BRUNSON. 🧡💙
I genuinely cannot put into words what this man means to me.
Jalen Brunson didn’t just become a Knick. He became the HEARTBEAT of New York basketball. He embraced the pressure, embraced the city, embraced the MECCA, and gave everything he had to a fanbase that had been waiting forever for someone to lead us back to the top.
This is the basketball capital of the WORLD. And Jalen Brunson is the man who put the Knicks back where they belong.
He has given me some of the greatest sports memories of my life. The shots. The fourth quarters. The playoff moments. The Garden going absolutely INSANE. The leadership. The toughness. The moments where he simply REFUSED to let us lose.
And I don’t care what anybody says… Jalen Brunson isn’t just the best point guard in the NBA.
HE IS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE NBA. PERIOD.
There is nobody I would rather have leading my team. Nobody I would rather watch. Nobody I would rather have carrying the weight of New York on his shoulders.
Jalen, thank you for choosing us. Thank you for believing in this city. Thank you for giving Knicks fans something to believe in again. Thank you for making the MECCA feel like the MECCA again.
You mean more to me than I could ever explain.
Happy Birthday, Captain.
NEW YORK IS YOUR CITY. 🗽
JALEN BRUNSON FOREVER. 🧡💙
WE ARE SO DAMN LUCKY TO HAVE YOU.
Brunson was doubted for being too short to be 1A just for him to win against the tallest superstar in the league.
The Knicks came back from down 29 and won with OG’s tip in.
Brunson drops 45 in a close out game and secures Finals MVP.
The Knicks had the most poetic finals ever
