York Region school busing is a joke.

My daughter waited 30 minutes this morning in the rain, bus did not show up. Her bus has been 20-25 minutes late every single day.

My sons can't take their bus home as it is always 30 min late and the school calls us to come get them.

Now Stouffville can't find crossing guards for 2 of the major intersections between my home and the school.

Pay educators fairly and make classrooms safer so that kids are in class and not home sick.

A plan would include:
-Negotiating with education workers to ensure students continue to receive the best education possible.
-Adding support to students who need it most.

This is a $250 slap to the face to every parent and education worker in the province.

But perhaps the developers paying massive $$'s to this fund are the reason we have MZO's, corrupt land purchase deals, zoning amendments to build massive towers etc.

1/3 of my daughter's class was away yesterday. The teacher had to send out a reminder to not come to school sick. Only 2 students wear masks regularly.

And they have a full school assembly today.

Should be a wonderful Thanksgiving.
