@jakerobrob@JfromBk and that was it. couldn’t get to the rim. couldn’t effectively distribute BECAUSE he couldn’t get to the rim. and he couldn’t defend. i get wanting to see the bright side, but egor’s rookie season wasn’t a positive one. tepid, at best.
@Charlie7867899@BillyReinhardt perfectly said. they don’t need MORE assets. they don’t need a 7’4 decent basketball player who can’t shoot. they need an electric guard/wing that at least has star potential.
@netsgarbage he’ll definitely be a decent role player on a good team one day. just wouldn’t be able to play him in the last 5 mins of games. at 16, it would be a “hell yes”. not at 6.
@BK_Way_Leah@clipfullyloaded as long as it is 1 of these 3. any of these picks aren’t likely to be stars, but these 3 have a chance, at least. it can’t be aday mara, who will be an average role player.
@NetsPressIG aday mara. great idea, live through one of the worst seasons this franchise has ever had to then draft a guy who they wouldn’t be able to play in the last 6 minutes of high stakes games.
@JfromBk@BrooklynNetcast this obsession with below average offensive centers who are destined to go 11 and 6 with 1.5 blocks their entire career is fucking ridiculous
@BillyReinhardt@NetsDaily if they trade back with the kings or hawks, i could stomach it. but if they trade back further, i might vomit. i think id rather take mara than do that. this team needs top-tier talent, not more assets…
