I like @McDonalds Filet-O-Fish enough that I have ordered it in every country I've visited, but I am done ordering them in the USA. About 20% of the time I open it up to see a grilled bun, even though it says right on the website "served on a soft, steamed bun."
.@McDonaldsCorp probably has an entire department including probably #sixsigma black belt engineers on staff, but can't even reach single sigma quality?
I just realized that ignorance of the true nature of systemic racism is critical to the maintenance of the morally virtuous image of the western capitalist system; suddenly the current political environment makes a lot more sense. I feel like I'm probably real late to that party.
How can we expect @YSUFaculty to continue to support students without the support of the administration? Students, it’s time to stand with the faculty who have supported you. Our success depends on their academic freedom & security. Solidarity forever. #SupportFacultyYSU
We’re resuming our search for a tenure track position in Computer or Electrical Engineering with a start date of Jan 2021. Review has started but there is still time to apply. Pass along to anyone looking who will complete PhD in CpE or EE by January! https://t.co/O2LgwOuvgm
Can @GiantEagle please hire an industrial engineer or something? I applaud the effort at social distancing but the fact that you did it in a way that makes people collide when just switching the entrance and exit doors would solve the problem is a bit mind boggling
I appreciate that @PNCBank ATMs have the ability to select what notes you want, but when the lobby is closed and there’s 80 cars in line I’d really like to be able to get $100s. Also, can we just discontinue $1 notes entirely please?
I really hope that the requirement to re-lock your iPhone immediately when using face ID is eliminated in the next point release of iOS @Apple@AppleSupport
@Jacob_Labendz I remember feeling discouraged having discussions with local and diaspora folk back in 2009 around the Hungarian nationality law, Slovak language law, and anti-Roma discrimination in the region. In retrospect, I should have felt terrified.
Published this morning in the Journal of Engineering Education @JEE_Editors is my editorial "To cross the picket line or join it:..", an exploration of engineering education practices and how they unduly support socioeconomic exploitation. #EngineersShowUp https://t.co/tk9bQlkMtX
