My advice to people in Vegas this weekend:

Rent a car, even for only 1 day. The Strip/Downtown are great. But what makes Vegas awesome is driving 20 minutes to Red Rock or 45 minutes to lake mead and taking in the exact opposite of the monument to consumerism the Strip is.
