Getting rid of Ten Hag is not the answer. Don't get me wrong, this isn't blind faith and he's not faultless and I do have my concerns but adding him to the growing list of sacked managers right now is not the answer.
The club is rotten from the top and shit runs downhill. Until the Glazers are gone and we are owned by people who are serious and aren't content with a top 4 finish to maintain sponsorships and a footballing infrastructure is in place to oversee transfers/contracts/scouting etc then this constant changing of manager is completely pointless.
Appointing a new manager will mean another attempt at a squad overhaul, without the budget or the time to do it (as we are seeing with Ten Hag now) and we will be back in the same position in 18 months time because nothing else will have changed. We are not a serious football club, we don't have any of the basics in place to build on and the world doesn't have Alex Ferguson's available anymore to hide the shambles of a club with guaranteed on the pitch success.
Ten Hag has had to work within a limited budget which has been made even tighter by inheriting a squad he's trying and failing to completely clear out. He's made some good transfers and some questionable ones too but he's ultimately missed out on a good number of first choices and is working with what he can get. Stevie Wonder can see Kane was first choice this summer. Rasmus would have been a belting back up striker for the future, but now we're in a position of putting pressure on a kid and expecting him to save our goal drought week in week out.
Not to mention the amount of injuries he's dealing with. Legal cases and player disciplines. Heavy schedule, shit squad depth, youngsters being thrown into pressured environments with hopes of being some sort of answer to our problems.
He's got a mentality and has standards that we've been missing for a decade. Players are letting him down. You can criticise his subs and his tactics etc but the performance yesterday against palace and against Brighton the other week are on the bone idle lazy bastards on the pitch. Tactics are one thing, stroppy players not doing the basics are another.
I don't often get too opinionated on here as I can't be arsed with the twitter drama and the 'stick to the videos' brigade but I felt I had to say something because I couldn't agree less with the calls to have him sacked.
The club is a disgrace.
The manager is up against it.
Stick with him.

Framer AI is pretty incredible. But, it’s form limitations and that you can only create home or landing pages are the only drawbacks for me. Any progress on this? @framer
Can someone please explain to me the situation between Murdoch, the BBC and Huw Edwards? Am I right in saying the story is covering something more sinister up? 🤔
