Revelation β King of kings and Lord of lords
Jesus didnβt need to die if you could get to heaven through law-keeping.
But we canβt live up to the perfect standard Godβs law requires. Thatβs why we need to rely only on Jesus, who has done so on our behalf.
Believing weβre saved by grace through faith (not our works/obedience) doesnβt make us lazy or disobedient.
Instead the grace of God βtrains us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age.β (Titus 2:12)
βBlessed is the man who makes the LORD his trustβ (Psalm 40:4)
Whatβs your trust in for your salvation? What you do for the Lord, or what he has done for you?
