My sister worked with a guy - big dude, power lifting type - who had been with this girl over a year. He took great care of her daughter and was eventually asked if he would adopt her. He did, happily, and within a week she broke up with him, moved out, and lived with a different guy. Not only does that mean she had something going on behind his back, but now he had to pay child support and didn't even get to see the kid, which I guess bothered him even more. When someone asks "where are the good men" what they're really saying is "where da chumps at"
