In creating Sentimental Graffiti, I was thinking about what it means to make a project that is both digital and physical—offline net art. I keep encountering the idea that most artworks today are primarily enjoyed in formats other than the original. Paintings in vaults, bought and traded but never seen; painters on Twitter, framed in a lost website, in a screen. NFTs also mostly function as a liquidity layer for the underlying art and feature randomized fragments of works. My favorite painter, Michel Majerus, whom I reference a lot in this project, I've only seen in my folders and books.

This led me to try to recreate a version of this "new normal" system of art consumption: a gradient of encapsulation, websites as frames, protective-reflective shells around paintings, books, and plaques self-documenting and expanding.

its pretty clear here that i'm talking here about "Milady" the name, image and identity. This existed as my account in 2020, and I was later editing this in various ways, including what became the modern Milady Maker version with switchable assets, long before the NFT was even talked about.

Its really funny that Charlie is trying to erase me from a project that has my name and likeness. This insane retcon is a losing battle.

if you read, there's no claim to Remilio there. I do however claim the art of Bonkler, we might put that in the next round of copy. You also seem confused about Milady's origins and my role, so I have attached some reading material. nice retcon attempt, maybe bring a couple more lackeys next time. I will continue making art.
