Former Slovenian PM Janez Janša’s message is blunt: Slovenia is sovereign, EU foreign policy requires its consent, and calling Gaza or Judea & Samaria a “genocide” is a political position, not a legal determination.

He says Slovenia’s government should put the interests and well-being of the Slovenian people first.

At a time when the Palestinian cause is increasingly treated in parts of Europe as something that overrides national interest, sovereignty and even basic factual distinctions, that clarity matters.

Israel needs friends who are willing to challenge the consensus when they believe the consensus is wrong.

4. @vladaRS ima jasno usmeritev glede prioritet svojega delovanja, ki so osredotočene na povečanje blaginje slovenskega človeka, zato bo vodila pragmatično politiko na vseh področjih svoje ustavne pristojnosti. Enako pričakuje od drugih nosilcev javnih funkcij, ki so ob nastopu prisegli, da bodo delovali za blaginjo Slovenije.
