🧵 1/3 Today, we declared a State of Emergency on homelessness.
Denver’s homelessness crisis is the most significant issue facing our city, & this declaration is the first step to reach our goal of helping 1,000 unhoused Denverites get safely indoors.

Hi from Kira who’s our new Volunteer & Events Coordinator here at Mile High Ministries. She looks forward to adding to the safe, loving, and healing community here at #JoshuaStation
If you have any ideas outside of these categories, reach out!
You’ll see a new logo and spiffy graphic designs around Mile High Ministries these days. We’re enjoying them and hope you do too. Our talented partners at #vybewellmedia listened deeply to what makes our hearts sing and our housing communities thrive.
BIG THANKS! Generous #JoshuaStation supporters have given $58,500 toward our Spring Into Caring goal of $75k for homelessness. There’s still time to do your part in any amount:

“Now I have a real career and have enough money to support my family without having to rely on food stamps and Medicaid.” - Jayde Bonato
We were thrilled to get an update this week from our former Joshua Station resident and program graduate Jayde.
For this year’s Spring Into Caring for Joshua Station, we’re celebrating doorways to opportunity. Our residents courageously step across many thresholds along their journey with us. They find support from staff, volunteers, and each other—as they prepare for their futures.
