When permission was granted previously, they did not abide by the law; the crowd they mobilized engaged in heavy stone-pelting, arson, and violence, causing significant damage to public property. Permission for the proposed sit-in protest at Janpath was denied due to the failure to follow prescribed procedures, a history of non-compliance with laws and guidelines, and the prevailing security and law-and-order situation. To ensure Delhi's security and protect the lives and property of its citizens, Section 133 BNSS was imposed in several areas of the city, prohibiting any form of gathering or protest. Abhijeet Dipke and two of their associates were detained on October 10 in connection with a call for a protest at Janpath as permission for the demonstration had not been granted"

Preventive arrest u/s 126/170 BNSS of Sh. Abhijeet Dipke, Sh. Ashutosh Ranka and Sh. Saurav Das was done on 10.10.2026. All due legal procedures were followed and they were produced before the SEM Court, Delhi Cantt on 11.10.2026.

A bail bond as Surety Bond of ₹50,000/- was filled for maintaining peace and good behaviour, for a period of one year, and they were released by the SEM Court.

आज के अखबार मे आई खबर देख कर ग्रेनो वेस्ट के निवासियों के मन मे जो उम्मीद थी अब यकीन मे बदलती जा रही है कि दादरी से मौजूदा विधायक @tejpalnagarMLA जी को टिकट नहीं मिलने वाला है। टिकट मिले भी क्यों? 10 साल तक @OfficialGNIDA द्वारा किए गए विकास कार्यों का फीता काटने और ग्रेनो वेस्ट की जरूरतों को नजरंदाज करने के अलावा इन्होने किया ही क्या है? इन्होने हमेशा ही सामाजिक संगठनों और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं को @BJP4India @BJP4UP विरोधी समझा है।
एक तरफ ग्रेनो वेस्ट मेट्रो के मुद्दे पर सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं को कहते हैं - धरना-प्रदर्शन से कुछ ना होता, वहीं दूसरे तरफ BJP पार्टी से जुड़े सोसाइटी निवासियों को बिल्डर के खिलाफ धरना-प्रदर्शन करने हेतु प्रेरित करते हुए टेंट-पंडाल लगाने की बात कहते हैं।

> ग्रेनो वेस्ट मे सफाई व्यवस्था ❌

We have seen the OHCHR’s remarks about today’s events in New Delhi.

India is the world’s largest democracy, where the right to peaceful assembly is guaranteed by our Constitution and safeguarded by robust institutions, an independent judiciary and a free media. As in every democracy, Indian citizens exercise this right subject to reasonable restrictions in the interest of public order. The authorities, for their part, act in accordance with the law, and our courts remain available to all for redressal of any grievances.

The OHCHR’s concerns are therefore misplaced and constitute an unwarranted interference in the internal affairs of India.

In this context, OHCHR would also do well to devote comparable attention to large-scale protests elsewhere, consistent with its mandate of impartiality and non-selectivity.
