@PMBroussard Wow chick-a-wow wow! This has made my day Paula. Absolutely love it. BTW did you see The Eddie Murphy movie Dolemite Is My Name? One of my favourites in recent years.
Decoupling Ginger from Fred - @DrMatthewSweet @BoltonsMotors @PamHutch @eggsbened@MilesEady shine the spotlight on a multi-talented Hollywood star (and her formidable mother). @BFI@BBCRadio3 https://t.co/M2BTXFNxEk
This was an amazing conversation about the legendary Ginger Rogers, an honour to be in such knowledgeable, erudite and witty company. Tonight at 22.00 #GingerRogers#FreeThinking#Radio3
Strong, snappy, sassy Ginger Rogers made ten, yes, ten matchless movies with Fred Astaire.
But she made SIXTY-SEVEN without him.
Let @BoltonsMotors @PamHutch @MilesEady@DrMatthewSweet and I tell you all about her at 10pm tonight on @BBCRadio3's @BBCFreeThinking.
Have a listen!
Today, I had the huge honour of delivering "The Magic of Ginger and Fred" at the BFI - two legends who continue to inspire us with their timeless style and chemistry. 3 months researching 50 books, now I can rest. #BFI#ClassicHollywood With @osborn_heather@BaranowskaAga
Exciting seeing the slide show on the biiiiiig screen in NFT1 doing the tech run for the Ginger and Fred event on Saturday. Tix available here:

@FilmFan1971 Totally! Ginger thought that Harriet Hoctor's performance was strange and old fashioned at the time and she also hated the multiple masks! I was surprised to find out that the masks were plaster casts of Ginger's actual face!
Prepare to be swept off your feet.
Top Hat is re-released today at BFI Southbank and selected cinemas across the country. #gingerrogers

I very pleased to say that there's plenty more Ginger Rogers chat in part 2 of my MusicalTalk chat with the excellent Thos Ribbits @MusicalTalkThos which is out now!
Ep 794: Ginger Rogers, Musical Film Icon 2: As the @BFI retrospective of the wide career of Gingers Rogers continues, @musicaltalkthos & @MilesEady continue their chat about the legendary Ginger and learn how she was a creative force in her own right. https://t.co/AEM6zSFkPV
Not sure why this popped into my head, but if you had 30 seconds to see Ray Bolger dancing with himself as both Washinton and Lincoln it's magnificent. Imagine if Bolger and Donald O'Connor ever got together. https://t.co/HZqHFhTfN4
