WHY NOT: They can cause GI problems
A lot of them have lactose and if you're lactose-intolerant, it can be sketchy. Good thing there's lots of lactose-free options now.
5. Keep it simple
If your workouts cover these, you're good to go:
Squat
Deadlift
Lunge
Push
Pull
Carry
You don't need a dozen exercises to have a good workout.
4. You don't have to go 100% all the time to see results
You don't have to work out everyday.
You don't have to do every set to failure.
Those are some ways to burn out fast and will make you hate working out.
Once you're able to get a workout routine going, it's not so bad when things are going smoothly in life.
But life isn't smooth.
What dictates your success (and results) is how you respond when life gets rocky.
Meet my client, Shivani.
She works a busy executive job that requires her to work late and travel a lot.
We started working together last year and in the last 6 months, she's made a lot of progress.
The scale is slower to move but she pointed out one of the biggest changes for her the other day:
In past years, when she was stressed, she would've opted to watch Netflix and munch on some chips and skip her workouts.
Today, she works out even when she's stressed out.
