*World Book Day- Starbooks Cafe*

To celebrate @WorldBookDayUK and to launch our new library, the pupils were invited to a book taster session at the Starbooks Cafe.

They enjoyed reviewing the books over a biscuit before voting for their favourite.

These Reception pupils are blowing my socks off with their independent writing! I would highly recommend you zoom in to see their beautiful letter formation and application of their phonics knowledge!

Today, Year 5 were learning about anti-social behaviour and what that might look like in our local community. We also thought about how it could impact on people. We came up with some fabulous ideas!

Year 5 used one of the great Pol-Ed lessons to learn about road safety. We thought about how we would be using the roads differently in the next few years, maybe walking to and from school on our own or using a mobile phone whilst travelling.

Year 1 and 2 Writing- we are delighted with how hard our pupils have been working to improve their writing! Their knowledge of phonics is really coming through now!
