@FreddyLA7@HMZZZaZ Stop for Boudin and fried alligator anywhere between Baton Rouge and Baytown (Gator Junction in Anahuac)
Gator Country in Beaumont for the most ridiculous gator theme park
Last night, I got a call from President Trump. During the call, I asked about how the Pentagon had reclassified my faith. He said he would look into it. This morning, he told me it had been fixed. Thank you, President Trump.
We can disagree on whether "Mormons are Christian." That's not what disturbed me about this. I don't want the GOVERNMENT classifying religions. That creates a dangerous tool that shouldn't be in the hands of ANY government.
I don't believe that was Hegseth's goal. But what happens if the power shifts and the "Jesus was nonbinary" camp takes over? Will they recategorize conservative Christians? The Biden administration already tried to link Catholicism to domestic terror.
If that possibility troubles you, then you understand my problem with this whole thing. I don't want the government to declare me a Christian. I want them to stay out of it.
Every Christian school, micro school, and co op in America have this ridiculous barrier to entry. Many a time have I tried to enroll my kids in a Christian school setting to be turned away. You have an interesting way of ministering to us.
Know a headmaster of a Christian school. Periodically Mormons try to enroll. He gives them a copy of the Nicene Creed and tells them to get their bishop to sign off on it.
The bishop never signs and they never enroll.
The craziest part of this Mormon discourse is that the nonLDS post as though 100% of the LDS population has never been part of another Christian denomination before 😂 I grew up Methodist, frequented Catholic Mass and Baptist services as well. I’m not unaware of the differences
Being rejected by the Christians of the United States is not new. From Missouri to Illinois, government officials not only failed to protect our ancestors from persecution — they often joined in it. Saints were stripped of their rights, shot at, and expelled. Children were executed. Women were assaulted. Then, even after fleeing the country, that same government sent an army to follow their bloody footprints into the Rocky Mountains. Elected officials then continued to harass, malign, and threaten to confiscate the Church’s private property for decades.
Now it is 2026, and the pattern has not entirely disappeared. The same government seeks to define what we believe. Voices on social media — most of them professing Christians — declare openly that our faith is obviously fraudulent or started by demons. Given that history, no one should be surprised when we respond with a touch of passion.
@Fair_and_Biased@russkiejedi@jmbrim3 Convenient. If this is your take at least be principled.
Mormons believe faithful Protestants and Catholics alike will be in heaven and are obviously Christian.
I’ve had 10,000 Christians tell me I’m not a Christian today.
And not one of them has invited me to their church.
You guys are terrible at missionary work.
