Gundogan returning makes so much sense that it'd be almost stupid for City to not pursue it.

- we absolutely need a player who can play 6/8. He can.
- we need a player who would be used to a false 9 system if Haaland is out. He is.
- he would get what Pep wants immediately
- he gives City another year to secure the 'big' midfield signing
- he comes with experience and leadership
- we literally have Cancelo to swap who Barca want
- he would be used a lot but also understanding of sitting some games out due to his age
- he is also just still fucking brilliant and makes others better around him
- we'd all fucking love it, let's be honest
