वैसे इस्लाम की सबसे पवित्र जगह काबा पर चार बार हमले हुए और चारों बार किसी ईसाई या किसी हिंदू ने नहीं बल्कि खुद मुस��मानों ने हमला किया था

पहली बार

खलीफा उमविया मक्का पर कब्जा चाहता था इसलिए अब्दुल्लाह इब्न अल-ज़ुबैर के बीच युद्ध में मक्का की पहली घेराबंदी के दौरान ( रविवार , 31 अक्टूबर 683 ईस्वी को काबा को लगाकर जला दिया गया

दूसरी बार

काबा को सन 692 में मक्का की दूसरी घेराबंदी के दौरान, उमय्यद आक्रमणकारियों द्वारा पत्थरों से बमबारी कर, ध्वस्त कर दिया गया था, जिसमें उमाय्याद सेना का नेतृत्व अल-हज्जाज इब्न यूसुफ ने किया था।

तीसरी बार

सन 930 के हज के समय शिआ क़रामतान आक्रमणकारियों ने काबा पे एक क्रूर हमले और रक्तपात के बाद, काबे में स्थित काले पत्थर को चुरा कर अल-अहसा ले जाय गया था, जिसे अब्बासियों द्वारा 952 में वापस लाया गया।

चौथी बार

सऊदी अरब सेना का पूर्व कर्नल जुहेमान अल ओतायबी सेना की नौकरी छोड़ कर अपने कबीले में गया और एक धर्मगुरु बन गया और अपने कबीले के लोगों को यह विश्वास दिला दिया इस्लाम का असली मेहंदी वही है

फिर 20 नवंबर 1979 को जुहेमान अल ओतायबी अपने सैकड़ों समर्थकों के साथ अत्याधुनिक मशीन गनो से भीषण रक्तपात करते हुए काबा पर कब्जा कर लिया था।

पूरी का काबा लाशों से पट गई थी हर तरफ खून ही खून था

सऊदी अरब की सेना भी जुलेमान अल ओतयबी के ��ंगुल से काबा को छुड़ा न सकी

सऊदी अरब सरकार ने फ्रांस की मदद मांगी और फ्रांस से उनके विशेष कमांडो उसको भेजने का निवेदन किया

फ्रेंच सेना के कमांडो जब सऊदी अरब आए तब एक समस्या खड़ी हो गई क्योंकि काबा में कोई गैर मुस्लिम प्रवेश नहीं कर सकता इसलिए समस्या यह खड़ी हुई कि अब यह ईईसाई कमांडो ��ाबा में कैसे जाएं ?

फिर इस समस्या का यह हल निकाला गया कि पहले एक मौलवी इन फ्रेंच सेना के कमांडो को कलमा पढ़ा कर मुसलमान बनाएगा
उसके बाद जब ये ऑपरेशन करके बाहर आएंगे फिर एक पादरी उनके ऊपर पवित्र जल छिड़क कर उनका बपतिस्मा करके फिर से ईसाई धर्म में वापस लाएगा और इस तरह फ्रेंच कमांडो ने काबा को छुड़ाया था

इस हमले में 1200 लोग मारे गए थे

बाद में सऊदी अरब में जगह जगह जुलेमान के समर्थकों को गिरफ्तार किया गया और कुल 63 समर्थकों को सार्वजनिक रूप से गला काटकर मौत की सजा दी गयी
